I am studying my second degree and in effect I understand that there are things that can be improved, I no longer have the same enthusiasm as when I was younger. For example, in the study program of the Musical Interpretation in Singing career, there are too many subjects that are not so much related to the instrument, but rather for the general training of a musician. I think it would be good to increase the study hours of your main instrument in order to focus on that. On the other hand, the workload is arduous, the training branches where psychology or learning development is seen, from my point of view I feel that they do not contribute as much to the study program, rather they generate stress. Another important point is the quality of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Chile, which unfortunately is very precarious. I feel that being one of the best universities in the country, it cannot be possible for the faculty that houses the musicians of tomorrow to be in these condit

Traveling to the future is an interesting idea, it's like thinking that your life will end hahahaha or that uncertainty of what may or may not happen. I think that this trip to the future would take me to Europe, a place where I would like to study and grow for a while. I would like to live in Strasbourg, France, because I’m very interested in learning about this culture, language, and spend my days in that beautiful city. This is how I see myself in the future. I see myself sitting having a coffee at noon and feeling the autumnal rain. How beautiful isn't it? After coffee, dedicating myself in the afternoons to directing the Strasbourg orchestras would be the ideal and sharing ideas with the musicians on how to improve society with culture and fight with music the problems they present in society. I hope to stay there for a while, learn from people who lives there, and enjoy, of course I do, but to tell the truth I would like to return to my country to be able to c

The job I would like to have is as a conductor in a professional orchestra, either in Chile or around the world. I imagine myself getting there, greeting all musicians and starting the rehearsal. It's so rewarding as a profession, since the cultural contribution to society is huge, you know, and being part of it is simply amazing. To be able to conduct, you have to be skilled with your hands, you need empathy with the musicians as well, and of course, you need to study, and to study a lot. Fortunately, the salary is quite good, obviously, depending on the orchestra in which you are conducting. You'll be able to afford a comfortable lifestyle being a conductor.  I'm currently studying lirical singing and conducting, however, conducting is not a career that you can find at universities in Chile. The only way to learn it is with a private teacher or conductor, in courses, seminars or simply in another country.  There's more and more conductors in Chile, which means that th

I was in my second year of college, still enchanted by Rock, and I went to see the fathers of Heavy Metal, Black Sabbath. It was the long-awaited return of the original line-up with Ozzy Osbourne and for the better, the band that played to receive them was none other than Megadeth.  A very good concert from start to finish, full of emotions for the importance of both groups. That year 2013 definitely marked my life by remembering this concert, which was also held at the Monumental stadium, the most beautiful sports venue in the country, because Colo Colo plays there, the best team in the history of Chile. Being on the court of that concert was the best, I enjoyed every moment, they are also bands that I like a lot. I hope to see them again one day, today I am away from rock, because classical music and folklore occupy a main place in my life.
