POST 6: EXPERT OR WEBSITE Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/c/bach Writing about this content is interesting, this is because I will have to talk about one of the pages that I like to visit the most and this is the Netherlands Bach Society on YouTube. Through this channel, you can find content related to a musical group dedicated to the compositional work of Johann Sebastian Bach. The compositions that can be found are practically all, or at least the most important, and the most impressive thing is when you can appreciate the works with choirs and orchestra, because fantastic lyrical singers are performed in them, from whom you can learn how to approach vocal work and what kind of techniques they use to deal with this type of repertoire. A clear example of this is the Mass in B minor BWV 232 conducted by Van Veldhoven and the solo singers Hana Blažíková (soprano 1), Anna Reinhold (soprano 2), David Erler (alto) Thomas Hobbs (tenor), Peter Harvey (bass). I like this site because you can

POST 5  Music is a universal language, this implies that anyone who lives in China, in Europe, or speaks a language other than yours, can understand this universal language, which is the musical language, either through musical notes or by listen to it, as is the example that music can transmit emotions without necessarily having a text in between. This implies that it can be a powerful way of reaching people, because as the great philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche would say, “life without music would be a mistake”. Everything is music and we depend on it, like when we walk or go to some activity, if we are not listening to music, we are singing or thinking about rhythms that catch our attention. In that sense, we depend on music for our daily lives. My career in music contributes in this sense, because singing is the cry of the soul and with that I can transmit a message to the world, be it love, politics, or another. Being a transmitter at the service of music is one of the most beautif

POST 4: Today, my dear public reader, I want to comment on food dishes, specifically, my favorite food. There are many varieties of tastes within what food is, but in particular, I love Chilean food too much, some empanadas, some sopaipillas, some good beans with mother's reins when it's cold are dishes that I I like to taste, I'm a fan of food, but why not everyone? But especially, I really like the casserole, it's something very versatile, and I peculiarly like to cook a lot. Cazuela is a very popular Chilean dish among the population of this country, it contains chicken or beef, rice, cooked potatoes, pumpkin, corn and water. I like it a lot because it is a dish that can be shared with the family and its ingredients are very varied, you can enjoy a good conversation and an excellent accompaniment for rainy season. In my opinion, it is a dish rich in many nutrients, because it has chicken (or meat), rice and also has different vegetables, but it should not be eaten ev

POST 3: When I met some close friends (Aníbal, Flavio, Diego), who are also colleagues in music, I realized that they used an IPad both to play games and to read scores, and they always invited me to play Star Wars through this technological tool. At that time, around the year 2016, I thought that only Tablets existed, however, when I wanted to buy this technological tool, my friends quickly made it clear to me that there were IPads, which belonged to the Apple brand. I use the IPad as much as to take photos and videos, however, I have also used it to read, search for things on the internet and mainly download PDF scores. This has allowed me to use it in rehearsals singing or conducting the orchestra, it is a very versatile tool, also sometimes I use it to watch series or movies and it weighs much less than a laptop. In that sense, I completely change my life, because I no longer depend on a piece of paper to be able to read scores, contributing to my profession and my studies. I would

POST 2: As we will be talking about complicated decisions in life, today, I decide to tell you mine, this story is not easy to tell, because you have to understand the different processes of life to understand the path of the young, especially in this modern society , one goes from here to there, well, we must take charge of countries at a young age as some other monarchs have done, right? Since I was a child I have liked music, my father always instilled it in me, but certainly that was not very clear to me in my youth, many times one lets oneself be influenced by certain characters that appear in life. In my childhood I had dreams like many children, I wanted to be an aviator, or as I watched soccer with my family on television, I also wanted to be a soccer player, but since things happen differently when you are little, I did not end up fulfilling my goals. That's how in elementary school I had the intention of studying Industrial Civil Engineering, but over time, I realized th
POST 1: Hello, my name is Israel Felipe Olivares Vargas, I am 29 years old. I have a degree in music and Director of Musical Groups at the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences (UMCE). I was born in Santiago de Chile in 1992 and since then I have lived in La Florida, in the southern part of the Metropolitan Region. Since I was little I started in music, mainly due to the influence of my father, also a musician. At the age of 11, I began to sing in the choir of the Liceo Andrés Bello in the San Miguel district, where I studied until I was 18 before starting university. This high school has an interesting cultural history, because that is where Los Prisioneros, an important musical group for the history of our country, was born. When I left high school, I prepared for a year to take the university selection test, that's how I started studying music in 2012 at UMCE. That is where my path as an orchestral conductor begins, because within the mention I contemplated working wi
